Use `whatsapp_suite/` as canonical source; regenerate `whatsapp.py` after source changes. Run source and portable offline tests. Keep default tests free of live side effects. Do not commit exports, profiles, real message/contact fixtures, credentials or research captures. Preserve explicit self-message recipient guards and native object checks and advisory compatibility reporting. Read `CONTRIBUTING.md` and `docs/VALIDATION.md` before changing native integration.
