Already installed? Close searchi before installing the update. Version 0.1.1
prevents duplicate desktop/model sessions when you open the app again.
The installer creates a launcher and sets up WebView2 if needed. This initial
release is unsigned. macOS and Linux packages follow; source build instructions

# Windows desktop 0.1.1 release evidence
Published 2026-10-13 as an unsigned prerelease:
https://tea.karlcom.de/karl/searchi/releases/tag/v0.1.1
Application source: `97c2df3b3b4922a85b66722e3d386aa79360ecdc`.
This desktop-only version bump leaves shared engine/CLI versions unchanged.
The installer adds the official single-instance plugin already documented in
[launch behavior](SINGLE-INSTANCE.md); no storage schema change was introduced.
- 57 frontend tests and 35 native desktop tests passed; frontend formatting
and embedded production build passed.
- Normal staged worker SHA-256
`c01cb3ec13cfca722ee768e8350e1399a8b9a4d14a24a35adc3473a5cfc82a73`;
all 25 runtime DLL size/hash checks passed, including Vulkan and CPU modules.
- Build: Tauri `build --features custom-protocol --bundles nsis`, using the
same local WebView2 download-bootstrapper config as the initial release.
- Matching local archive: 39 individual file hashes verified before extraction
into an isolated Unicode path. App PID 19892 built generation 1 with two
genuine Google CPU chunks, 768 dimensions and a 6,544-byte ANN blob.
Launch-to-observed-generation was 18,002.04 ms in this tiny owned fixture;
this is not first search latency or warm p95.
- Duplicate PID 17228 exited 0 while the original test app remained alive.
Only owned test processes were terminated. The installed user app PID 7716
and its worker PID 19864 remained alive; no automatic upgrade occurred.
Native visual focus/minimize restoration remains unverified.
Installer `searchi_0.1.1_x64-setup.exe`: 98,947,099 bytes, SHA-256
`0e64798bd76d5a8d13fd7a7add82c97c34f4f88a1f399ebce08d8ed15c719e6f`.
Separate `SHA256SUMS-0.1.1.txt`: 95 bytes, SHA-256
`bef0dfe0a8144f6dce1304c185601f6c2dea02db5943b106390d6c3c1b1cb8c7`.
Both public unauthenticated full-byte downloads matched the local files.
Ignored raw lifecycle evidence:
`.searchi/packages/desktop-011-qa-Gemäß_日本/result.json`.
The installer was produced but was not installed over the running user app.
Upgrade/clean-machine install, signing, native UI interaction, macOS/Linux
packages and actual GPU parity/fallback remain open. Gitea Actions remain
disabled. These are not blockers for Karl's initial usable Windows release,
and this report does not close the broader production goal.
