Windows 0.1.6 delivery evidence
Published 2026-10-13 from application commit

Release and downloads.
The final NSIS build passed. Extracted resources passed speech inventory verification (31 records) and extraction-worker provenance verification. This is the normal hardware-detecting distribution, with CPU fallback; all inference tests in this Windows VM forced CPU only.

Public unauthenticated full-byte downloads matched both local artifacts.
The installer exited successfully during the existing Windows installation
upgrade. A consistent SQLite backup was taken first. Settings remained
byte-identical and SQLite quick_check returned ok. The installed desktop
executable matches the extracted installer executable:

The application launched from its installed path with the original profile,
CPU-only VM environment and disabled WebView GPU rendering. Its process was
responsive; this is process evidence, not a native UI interaction test.
Media and speech are usable experimental features. See speech evidence and limitations: the small independent EN/DE fixture found six of six positive files, but all four absent-content queries still returned results. Longer-source speech evaluation failed and has no valid quality score. A recoverable failed session now allows a fresh session at the next source; the original source retains its error.
Native UI/playback, clean-machine installation, real GPU execution, macOS and broader Linux checks remain open. The installer is unsigned. Gitea Actions remain disabled. These artifacts do not establish full production readiness.
Windows handoff, 2026-10-13
Karl requested closing the Windows delivery and deferring further platform work.
The installed 0.1.6 process was rechecked: executable path matches the user
installation and the process is responsive. No redundant reinstall was needed.
The Desktop searchi.lnk now has Windows hotkey Ctrl+Alt+S, verified by reading
the saved shortcut. It launches the existing CPU-only VM wrapper and original
profile. The application's built-in shortcut remains Ctrl+Shift+Space while
running. Actual synthesized input/native focus testing was not performed.
